    We were chosen by Tryazon to host a Pixicade Pets house party. This was a blast the party was a blast. We invited several family members and a few friends. We got out both the Original Pixicade, Pixicade plus, and the 2 Pixicade pets. This made it so easy for everyone to have fun and keep entertained while trying out the app and drawing their own pets and games. 

The Pixicade Pet comes with 8 very moist and useable, brightly colored markers. A #2 pencil and the Booklet to show great drawing ideas and step-by-step instructions.  Set up and scanning the qr code was simple and easy. Now the only thing that was a little frustrating was that on some devices you could not really see the outlines properly. However, that same picture on others was perfect.

Another thing that everyone loved kids and adults was that you can give each pet a different personality. No two game play is exactly the same so it keeps the kids entertained for hours. Great Product. 

 

 Now there are drawings everywhere and all the children were so happy. 

We love the hours of creative fun that Pixicade Provides us. We enjoy drawing out the characters, accessories, and eggs.

 I scaredly did order from here. I ordered 2 mystery items. Got tracking rather quickly and then finally received the package today it took about 2 weeks. I got 2 bluetooth headphones. Not name brand or anything but they do work well. I don't think it was worth the cost but it was real so far.

From Awesome to Opossum

I have been reviewing products for many years as most of you know. I started as just a teenager before being an influencer was a thing. I've had some great products come to my door step, from Pyrex dishes to Keurig Coffee makers and so much in between. 

Well, today I don't want to talk about products. Today, I want to talk to you about the companies themselves. Some of my favorites are influenster, Buzzagent,  Mattel Toy reviews, Ripple Street, and Craftsman Ambassador’s Club. These are just a view that don't disappoint. They have wonderful products and you can also communicate with the company on many platforms. They answer questions and help you figure out how to solve any issues you may have. 

But now lets get to the not so good ones. Daily Goodie Box and now the highest on my not so good list, Pinchme. First lets start with why I dislike the Daily Goodie Box, I was with them for a long time. I would get tons of emails and yet never any items. I then reached out to deactivate my account and they responded with but oh wait here is a box of samples. I thought okay, just have patience and it will get better. I received the box and the items were good. However, then came the tons of emails and nothing. I am not talking a short amount of time, I am talking over a year or more just emails and more emails but nothing, so needless to say, I deactivated my membership. 

Next, lets talk Pinchme.com, I used to absolutely love this company. I was with them since 2013. I have always looked at them as one of the best until recently. Now, I'd like to say oh it's a covid thing and they are not operating business as usual but I just don't believe that anymore. I have definitely  received products and have provided a tremendous amount of feedback on them. Here is where my problem comes in. I can't not stand a company who has awful customer service. I received an email regarding a special offer and usually I am not interested in these but at this time, I was in the market for a smart watch tracker. I got an email saying that if I did one of their three special offers, then I would get the tracker. Okay awesome I thought perfect timing. I immediately went on to their website filled out the special offer, paid for it and went back to Pinchme. Now the site is acting up, it wouldn't load. That's strange I thought so I emailed customer service instantly. I received the confirmation that I had submitted a help ticket and that in 72 hours, I would hear back from them. Well, okay that kinda standard right? So just to make me feel better, I went back to their website and reviewed the FAQ section regarding this type of transaction and it said sometimes it take 24 hours for the confirmation that I did the offer and that my item (Smart watch) would be saved for me in my cart. I felt okay that things were going to be okay as this all seemed "normal". I got a confirmation receipt,  that my special offer was complete and that it was on the way, so I went back Pinchme and seen that the watch was still in my cart pending confirmation. Then I did receive an email from a Megan at pinch saying, please send me proof of the special offer being paid for and the item that I was to receive from them for doing the offer. So did, I sent screenshots of everything. I got a reply saying the item is saved for me and just give it time while she or whomever, looks into it. I did. I waited, waited and waited. Then guess what the item that I was supposed to get was no longer available, so I reached out again. I got the standard automatic message wait 72 hours etc. Okay I waited, then I waited some more. I then reach out roughly a month later checking for any updates on the situation. Got the automatic message again so I waited more. A couple weeks go by and still no reply, so I messaged again and then waited some more. Here we are now months later and guess what guy..... I am still waited!!!!! I can't get a simple update or human reply in any way. As a member of their community for 7 years, you can't even answer me? They went from one of the best to playing opossum. Oh yeah they post on social media but can't get their customer service to give a shit about their members. I find this to be completely and utterly repulsive behavior. Customer service is so vital for a company and after all these years to be ignored repeatedly has now made this a complete crappy and unreliable review/sample site. Don't waste your time because they don't care about you or your time. 

With that, I will say, do your research on companies and if their customer service is garbage, the company probably is too. 

How to be a Veterinarian and Pediatrician learning experience by Little Medical School

We got selected by Tryazon to have a party with our mom group. We got both the How to be a Veterinarian and How to be a Pediatrician. These learning toys are wonderful as they allow your child to see the many possibilities that they can be in the medical field.

The first kit that we received was the How to be a Veterinarian.

 

This kit included a Stethoscope, Reusable markers, Light weight lab coat, Workbook, Diploma, Dog biscuit recipe and cookie cutter, tweezers, and of course the Doggie patient. 

The Second kit that we received was How to be a Pediatrician. 

 

This kit also included a Stethoscope, Reusable markers, Light weight lab coat, Workbook, Diploma, Assesment forms and of a sweet little patient with diapers .

My daughter loved the  Little Medical School kits. She loved the working stethoscopes and lap coats. She enjoys writing in her workbooks about what illness or vaccine that her little patients needed help with. She just lights up when she plays with this. I am glad it gives her a positive outlook and that it opens her up to a new world of possibilities.

It's Been Awhile

I know it's been awhile and I am sorry for my absence. Life now as a divorced mom has definitely been different. A little good a little bad but now after some time I am back into the swing of life and I am loving it.

I spend tons of time with my daughter and I am so blessed to have her in my life. She has made this new life so worth living. I know that I am beyond blessed and with that I am hoping to get back into my reviews.

I have a few that I would like to share and I think that I will start with my first ever Easy Cherry Pie. lol

I used the Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust that had 2 in the box. I bought them at Jewel Osco which had a coupon for $1 off 2 Pillsbury products so it was a great price. ( I plan to make an apple pie soon with the other).

Then I used some generic pie filling 2 cans.

So step one carefully roll out first crust and place in 9 in pie pan. Fill with the 2 cans of Cherry Pie Filling. Lastly Roll out the 2nd crust and cut it into strips.

Place the strips into alternating lattice like design.  Brush with a little milk and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake with foil around edges for 20 mins at 425 * then remove the foil and continue for another 20 mins ish... I only did about 18 minutes for my oven.

I have to say that this turned out amazing and everyone thought I did it all from scratch even though it was only semi homemade.

The crust was perfect and saved me so much time and energy. I would recommend this crust to anyone that doesn't want the added homemade crust headache but wants that fresh homemade taste.

Xulane Patch My personal experience

Three weeks ago I started using the Xulane birth control patch. Let start with why I started taking it. I am a 31 year old newly divorced mom of 5 (4 that are angels in heaven) I am Polycystic and don't have normal cycles and suffer from secondary infertility. With all the I still need help having periods and also can't take the chance of getting pregnant at this time because that would mean around 9 months of very strict bed rest. With a soon to be 4 year old at home bed rest and I just won't get along.

Here I am now. In a great relationship and I want to avoid the condoms that just suck the life out of my sex life. I truly just don't like them and can't imagine buying a ton of them so I spoke to my doctor and was prescribed the Xulane Patch.

You can take the time to read that if you would like. But why am I talking about this patch?

I am talking about it because as much as it seems to be working, something not so awesome happened to me. I have a beautiful new square scare on my inner arm. I never thought that using this product would leave me a new scare. So lucky for me it is hidden for the most part but, what if you didn't know it had this potential and placed it somewhere that is not so hidden? You'd probably be really upset.

I want you to have the knowledge and make the best decision for you. Am I still going to use this product yes. I haven't had any scaring on any other location so I think that in my non medical opinion, I'd just try to place it in not so sensitive locations and try to be aware that it may have that reaction for you too.
