It's Been Awhile

I know it's been awhile and I am sorry for my absence. Life now as a divorced mom has definitely been different. A little good a little bad but now after some time I am back into the swing of life and I am loving it.

I spend tons of time with my daughter and I am so blessed to have her in my life. She has made this new life so worth living. I know that I am beyond blessed and with that I am hoping to get back into my reviews.

I have a few that I would like to share and I think that I will start with my first ever Easy Cherry Pie. lol

I used the Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust that had 2 in the box. I bought them at Jewel Osco which had a coupon for $1 off 2 Pillsbury products so it was a great price. ( I plan to make an apple pie soon with the other).

Then I used some generic pie filling 2 cans.

So step one carefully roll out first crust and place in 9 in pie pan. Fill with the 2 cans of Cherry Pie Filling. Lastly Roll out the 2nd crust and cut it into strips.

Place the strips into alternating lattice like design.  Brush with a little milk and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake with foil around edges for 20 mins at 425 * then remove the foil and continue for another 20 mins ish... I only did about 18 minutes for my oven.

I have to say that this turned out amazing and everyone thought I did it all from scratch even though it was only semi homemade.

The crust was perfect and saved me so much time and energy. I would recommend this crust to anyone that doesn't want the added homemade crust headache but wants that fresh homemade taste.

Xulane Patch My personal experience

Three weeks ago I started using the Xulane birth control patch. Let start with why I started taking it. I am a 31 year old newly divorced mom of 5 (4 that are angels in heaven) I am Polycystic and don't have normal cycles and suffer from secondary infertility. With all the I still need help having periods and also can't take the chance of getting pregnant at this time because that would mean around 9 months of very strict bed rest. With a soon to be 4 year old at home bed rest and I just won't get along.

Here I am now. In a great relationship and I want to avoid the condoms that just suck the life out of my sex life. I truly just don't like them and can't imagine buying a ton of them so I spoke to my doctor and was prescribed the Xulane Patch.

You can take the time to read that if you would like. But why am I talking about this patch?

I am talking about it because as much as it seems to be working, something not so awesome happened to me. I have a beautiful new square scare on my inner arm. I never thought that using this product would leave me a new scare. So lucky for me it is hidden for the most part but, what if you didn't know it had this potential and placed it somewhere that is not so hidden? You'd probably be really upset.

I want you to have the knowledge and make the best decision for you. Am I still going to use this product yes. I haven't had any scaring on any other location so I think that in my non medical opinion, I'd just try to place it in not so sensitive locations and try to be aware that it may have that reaction for you too.

My Keurig 2.0 K450 Review!!

I just got this Keurig 2.0 K450 about a week ago and I really didn't think I was going to get much use out of this product but let me tell you that I was completely wrong. This has become my number one appliance in my house. We use it almost every day and multiple times a day. The only thing that I dislike is that the you can't use the original K-Cups. If you try to you get an oops message. So to not get this issues, you have to look for K-cups that have a white check mark on the outside of the box when you go to purchase them. I will say that I did call the company because this frustrated me and they made it right. I am still extremely happy with this product and so glad that I received a complimentary Keurig® 2.0 brewer from Influenster for testing and review purposes.

I haven't had a chance to use the Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons yet but as with most of the Playtex brand I am always a fan. 

I love the Vitamin Shoppe Next Step Fit N Full Protein Shakes. The flavor is amazing and I think that I am going to start doing this as part of my weight loss program. I feel good after I drink them. 

The Blue Diamond Blueberry flavored almonds surprised me, I don't like Blueberry flavored anything and since I got to try these for free I actually enjoyed the flavor and think that they are a great snack to enjoy while getting back into shape. 

The Profoot Triad Orthodic I am not really loving them right now. They are making my feet kinda hurt more than without them. I do like the fact that they don't cover all the way down to my toes so that's a definite plus. 

The Profoot  Pedi-Rock on the other hand is pretty cool. It is like a sponge with the grinding stones around it. I like it and it worked really well on my husbands horribly callused feet.

I also got the Aqua Spa Body Creme. I think that it is thick and absorbs well however, the scent is a little strong. 

As for the Greek Yogurt I have yet to get the product yet. 

I enjoyed getting these free. 

Curél® Intensive Healing Cream is AMAZING!!!

After just a couple uses we could both tell a difference in our skin, and now after weeks of using it we both have smooth, supple skin. I have honestly not had these kind of results with any other product before. And, I have tried A LOT!

Needless to say, I am totally sold on this product and I can see myself buying this the Curél® Intensive Healing for the rest of my life. It is such a wonderful product. The smell is pleasant. Not too perfumey. The texture is amazing. And best of all my skin loves it which makes me love my skin.

Infantino® Go GaGa Tummy Time Mat

I love this product. My favorite thing about this is that it helps my daughter with head strength. The mirror is a great way to get her to enjoy tummy time. I also love that this mat is a large size and also that it has an adorable growth chart right on the center of the mat. I personally would like a little different colors but heck even that is not really that bad. Thank you for a great product..
